About Me

Hey there, my name is Mike, and I'm a User Experience and Interface designer.

Influenced from an early age by several architects in the family, I received my first degree as an architect from Lusíada University of Lisbon.

Along my academic years, a new passion for multimedia was born, which drove me towards the new technologies. As a pure portuguese, I had to feed this passion so I dived into self-learning and did parallel courses where I learned to control AutoCAD, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Revit Studio Max Vray Render and many other technical ones.

In 2005 I started working as a contractor, producing 3D projects for architecture. The customer-feedback was so positive that it led me to open my first company Forsight Architects in 2006, a company specialized in 3D visualization and multimedia presentations.

During my journey at Forsight, I had contact with the different areas of design and multimedia, which grew great interest on me. Here I was already feeling very comfortable with HTML and CSS, and to become as good as I could I trained myself in the Lisbon School Master Web Design, and became UX & UI Designer attending EDIT - School of Interactive Design and Technology, I decided to follow my passion, User Experience and Interface Designer.

I've started 2010 joining a team at Inmotion Media Studios, a company specialized in Web Design and multimedia Development, to work as Ux and UI Designer.
